P.M.R. Ltd is a  non-profit making Friendly Society  run for the benefit of it’s members,  registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965, London Reg. No. 27395R.

PMR was first established in 1991 by a group of Pembrokeshire farmers and agricultural contractors as a member owned co-operative with the aim of promoting the concept of using resources in a more efficient way. PMR works on the long established European model of matching ‘demanders’ needs with the nearest available supplier able to deliver those needs. This can be applied to machinery, equipment, services, labour and many other farm based products, resources and commodities.

PMR’s ethos is strongly based on sustainability through efficient use of resources, and is mainly established to benefit rural communities and the rural economy as a whole. Through bringing about substantial efficiencies in the way these resources are used, PMR ensures greater viability of the rural community, helping to sustain the rural infrastructure and rural jobs.
